Junior Team Chailey Success At Towerlands
Three junior riders trained by Adrian and Vikki Evans had a very successful trip to the recent Towerlands Christmas Show. Louise Watson 11, Ben Parnaby 13 and Holly 12, did a fabulous job of representing Chailey Stud and Chailey Stud ponies.
Louise achieved double clears on both her ponies, a particulary impressive feat with Kings Lady CS as she had only ridden this pony three times before the show.
Louise also won the fancy dress section of the pairs relay partnered by Claudia Rees. Holly also achieved double clears on her special mare Mosstown Patience.
Ben had an awesome show, getting placed everyday, the most memorable being 3rd in the newcomers....a class of more than 100.
He also jumped the biggest class of the weekend and of his career so far, on his superb mare, Three B, only having one unlucky fence down.
All in all it was a fantastic show, a big thanks to the kids for riding so well and doing us proud, thanks to the ponies for behaving so well and of course to the parents for plying us trainers with tea/coffee and alcohol!
